  • Session Details & Logistics

Are sessions virtual or in person? All Soul Works by Dr. Brooklyn Chick sessions are currently virtual. Clients meet with Dr. Tanya Crabb via a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform from the comfort of home or another private space.

What do I need for a virtual session? You'll need:

    • A stable internet connection

    • A device with a camera and microphone

    • A quiet, private space where you can feel comfortable and supported

Can I attend sessions from anywhere? For your privacy and safety, sessions need to take place in a quiet, private location where you can speak freely without being overheard or interrupted.

Sessions cannot be held in public or shared spaces — such as workplaces, cafés, or laundromats — as this compromises confidentiality and the quality of your care.

Attending from a car is okay as long as you are alone, parked, and in a private setting. Sessions should not take place while driving.

If you're unsure whether your location will work, reach out ahead of time — Dr. Tanya Crabb is happy to problem-solve together.

What if I have tech issues? Life happens. If technical issues come up during a session with Dr. Tanya Crabb, we'll troubleshoot together or reschedule as needed — no stress.

What should I expect in the first session? The intake session at Soul Works by Dr. Brooklyn Chick runs 75 minutes. Dr. Tanya Crabb will explore what's bringing you in, what you hope to get out of therapy, and begin building a personalized plan together.

  • What if I need to cancel or reschedule? Soul Works by Dr. Brooklyn Chick asks for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. This helps protect the time set aside for your care and allows that space to be offered to someone else.

Late cancellations or missed sessions may result in a fee. Dr. Tanya Crabb understands that life happens — if something unexpected comes up, please reach out as soon as you're able.

  • What is a consultation? A consultation with Dr. Tanya Crabb is a free 15-minute virtual session where we explore what you're looking for and decide whether working together feels like a good fit. You're welcome to ask questions, get a sense of Dr. Crabb's approach, and see if Soul Works by Dr. Brooklyn Chick is the right next step for you.

What happens after the consultation? If we decide to move forward, Dr. Tanya Crabb will walk you through next steps, scheduling, and any remaining questions about starting therapy. If now isn't the right time, that's okay too — no pressure, ever.

How do I schedule a consultation? Click the "Schedule a Free 15-Minute Consultation" button and choose a time that works for you. The process is quick, secure, and easy.
