For the ones who look like they have it together —
and are quietly running on empty.
You've built something real. Now let's make sure you can actually enjoy it.
Individual therapy at Soul Works is designed for high-achieving adults who are ready to do growth work — not just crisis management. Culturally grounded, real-talk, evidence-based care for the version of you that's ready to go further.
Is This You?
You're successful.
And something still feels off.
You're successful by every measure that matters to other people. The career is moving. The responsibilities are handled. Nobody looking at your life from the outside would guess that something feels off.
But you know.
You're tired in a way that sleep doesn't fix. You've outgrown some relationships but don't know what to do about that. You're performing a version of yourself that's gotten a little too comfortable. And somewhere underneath all of it, you're asking — is this it? Or is there more?
This is exactly the kind of work we do here. Not crisis management. Not survival mode. Growth work. Identity work. The kind of therapy that helps you get quiet enough to hear yourself again — and then actually like what you hear.
If you're ready to invest in yourself the way you invest in everything else — you're in the right place.
"You don't need to earn rest, healing, or support. You just need to decide you're worth it."
— Dr. Tanya Crabb, Psy.D.What Brings People Here
High-achieving people carry things
that don't always have obvious names.
What Our Work Together Looks Like
Collaborative. Culturally grounded.
Built around you.
Therapy at Soul Works isn't a one-size-fits-all protocol. Your culture, humor, history, and lived experience are welcome in the room. You won't spend sessions explaining your community, your background, or why things hit differently when you're carrying what you're carrying.
Dr. Crabb brings clinical rigor, real talk, and genuine warmth to every session. Expect to be challenged — gently and directly. Expect to be seen.
Three things that define the work
Real. Grounded.
Growth-focused.
- 01 Real TalkExpect honesty delivered with warmth. Dr. Crabb will tell you what she sees — not just what you want to hear. That's how real change happens.
- 02 Culturally AttunedYou won't have to translate yourself. Cultural context, generational patterns, and identity are part of the work — not footnotes to it.
- 03 Growth-FocusedThis isn't just about managing symptoms. It's about becoming clearer, freer, and more fully yourself — at every level of your life.

Why private pay?
Insurance-based therapy comes with constraints — on session length, number of sessions, and what can be addressed. Private pay removes those entirely. When you invest directly in your care, your goals drive the work — not a diagnosis code, not a utilization review, not an arbitrary session cap. For clients who are serious about growth, that freedom matters.
Common Questions
You've got questions.
We've got real answers.
No. Many clients come with goals, not diagnoses. Growth, clarity, identity work, and burnout recovery are all valid reasons to be in therapy. You don't need to be in crisis to deserve support.
That depends entirely on what you're working on. Some clients reach their goals in a focused 8–12 sessions. Others choose ongoing support. We'll talk about it openly from the start — and revisit it as we go.
That's more common than you'd think — especially when the therapist couldn't match your pace or didn't understand your cultural context. This space is different. Start with a free consultation and see for yourself.

Yes. A superbill can be provided upon request for potential out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your insurance plan. Ask about this during your consultation.
